Switch accounting software without starting your books again
You do not have to choose between the ledger you have kept for years and software that works from a phone. Your existing data comes across, and vouchers can still move back while you switch, so nothing is entered twice.
Bring your data, not just your opening balances
Most moves to new accounting software begin with a blank year and a pile of re-typing. Here the day book and masters from your current desktop accounting software import directly, along with Excel/CSV registers and bank statements.
Vouchers can also be exported back as XML while you switch — a business may bill on a phone all month while its accountant still finalises elsewhere, and neither side has to re-enter the other's work.
- Day book import, including ledgers, groups and stock items
- Excel / CSV registers and bank statements (PDF, Excel or a photo)
- Stock journals and inventory vouchers, not just ledgers
- Supplier rules remembered on import, so a purchase that should be an expense is routed automatically next time
What you get that a desktop ledger cannot give you
- Books reachable from any device, and billing that works offline
- GSTR-2B reconciliation and return filing against the same data
- Bank statements parsed and matched to bills
- Multi-user access with per-person rights, and an audit trail on every change
- Customers pay from a link with a UPI QR instead of being chased by phone
Common questions
Will I lose my existing data?
No. The day book import brings your existing vouchers and masters across, and you can keep exporting back afterwards while you decide how much to move.
Does the import cope with large or messy exports?
Yes. Large day books are read in a streaming pass, and exports with unusual encodings or characters are handled rather than failing the import.
Can I keep my current software running alongside it?
That is a sensible way to start. Vouchers can move in both directions, so the two stay in step while you switch.
